As a mom of 2 juggling a full-time career, along with my small business, I think it is safe to say that I have no time. Therefore, editing photos easily is something I strive for. I edit my photos with pre-made presets. If you do a Pinterest or Google search, you will find a large selection of presets made by creatives. You just need to find your own style that you vibe with and you’re golden.
What are photo presets? They are photo edits, usually created by photographers, that allow you to create stunning images with one click. This also helps you maintain a cohesive aesthetic without spending hours manually editing each photo! Some of my pretty and affordable presets are from Monika Hibbs, Jillian Harris and Wilde Presets.
My aesthetic is mostly light and airy with lots of pinks and warmer tones. I always make sure all of my photos feel like they go together in my feed.
I use the app “Lightroom” to edit all of my photos. I typically upload a photo I’ve taken into the app and then click on my favourite photo preset and about 98% of the time, it works like magic!
Other things to keep in mind:
- I make sure everything is straight, so if I need to adjust the framing, I crop the photo as needed.
- If you do not want to use a preset, you can play around with the following to edit your photos:
- Edit the brightness
- Edit the temperature – to add a cooler or warmer look in your photos
- Add a bit of tint
- Check the saturation
- Add a filter
Once you play around with the options more, you will find that you will typically adjust your photos to your fave method! I hope this helps!
