This blog post is going to be all about my new gorgeous business cards! I cannot express how much joy I FEEL every single time I look and touch them.
When I began my side hustle almost 6 years ago, my business cards were printed on simple almost glossy paper. (I don’t know what I was thinking?!) And then the last several years, I upgraded my business cards to a beautiful lightly textured and thicker card stock. I’ve adored it for the last several years and when the time came for me to stock up on my cards, I decided to do some research on having my next set of cards letterpressed.
Now what is letterpress? It is a beautiful method of printing where it leaves a physical impression on beautiful thick paper. The design is printed onto a plate and is basically like a stamp. Then it is inked and pressed onto gorgeous paper.
This is something I have adored for years but did not invest in until I was ready. I became pretty obsessed with watching videos of letterpress stationers doing it all – it is seriously a labour of love. I hope to one day get a hands on lesson with the letterpress!
I cannot wait to hand these lovelies out and hope that you will also appreciate the love put into it. They were letterpressed with hand made paper by Axelle of Papier June – who is the loveliest and coolest person ever. They are a true representation of me and my work.
